The title says it all. The DS staff has grown and as a part of our coming of age we have discovered we no longer have an abundance of time needed to read the complete archives of a webcomic every week. Ever since Zampzon packed his bags he preached this day would come but little did I know it would be so drastic. What really did it was real life giving me a very good and delightful promotion with an endless amount of responsibilities. So much so that now comes the decision whether to have a social life or carry on the podcast.

It’s pretty obvious what I decided but what I do not want to do is shut down. To many people come to our site and give us encouragement for me to abandon what has become a webcomic staple. Perhaps the biggest motivation are all our listeners coming up to us at conventions and telling us about how they heard our review of this or that and just how wrong we were. There’s nothing better to a critique site then more disagreement. That being said I do not want to sacrifice quality and therefore and putting the podcast on hiatus until further notice.

What will change my mind? Just about anything actually, but in particular we are in desperate need of 2-3 to take it over. Do you believe you have what it takes to be a personality? Do you have an idea to take the web by storm? Perhaps turn the podcast into a vidcast so you can show the actual comic being talked about. There’s a ton of ideas but in the end I can no longer personally run or support it. For now we will continue with the blog and possibly even use our new found time to revitalize the comic. Whatever the future holds we look forward to sharing it with you, our audience.
