There are many mysteries in the world that not even the mighty power of the Internet can solve. Like why bacon is so awesome or how the CW is still around. There are other things that are not quite so mysterious, like why thousands of local singles are always looking for me.
Also not mysterious, is the fact that day in and day out Jason and I are scouring the Web looking for more comics and bringing some of them to your attention. This week, we present Mystery Solved by Zach Kruse and friends for you’re approval. Actually our approval, but if you guys comment then your approval becomes equally important.
This comic is different from most, it rotates artists like I rotates favorite Dr. Who. It also sets out to lay down the law on many paranormal phenomenon where as most comics just try to put boobs on them (although this comic actually does that too, check out the Bigfoot arc).
We also talk about Willy Wonka, Jason’s new iPad 2, lighting one’s own butt on fire and much much more.

I just got done listening to the show and I wanted to thank you for taking the time to review the comic and your honest criticism.
First, regarding the archive visibility, I agree with you that is definite error on my behalf while putting the site together.
On the writing criticism, I absolutely see where you’re coming from but you hit the nail on the head when you suggested that it was intended to present the skeptical viewpoint for the mysteries that have been presented thus far. That is, as oposed to a traditional work of fiction. Each story is very loosely based on a real incident and/or scientific consensus of a real (or imagined) phenomenon. That is something that I should make more clear on the “about” page.
I absolutely agree that no piece of fiction needs to be or necessarily should be bound by any one point of view or ideology. However, my intent is not meant to shock or surprise (of course we all know what the ending of the story will likely be), it’s to tell fun stories that are on a small level educational, but done in a fun, silly, and accesible way. Without being overly didactic.
I think if you stick around you’ll find some more challenging stories that stay true to my intent with the series but are told in a slightly different format from the Commander McBragg-Scooby Doo format that I so love.
Anyway, I really appreciate you guys taking the time to review the comic and for giving your honest opinion of how you perceived the work.

Glad to hear that you enjoyed the show. I hope I didn’t come across as too much of a chode with my bit on your story structure. I do think your presentation is a great way to get your point across.

Ppfftt! You didn’t come across that way as at all. It was just the way you perceived the stories and that’s 100% cool. I’m always interested in what people have to say about it so I can learn how to work out any kinks that I may have; and so I can tell stories/present information better tomorrow than I did today.
