The other 1% – CAW4HW about to hit its hundredth week.

A little over a year ago, Steve and Jason stumbled across a comic with a fascinating concept and an unpronounceable name.

CAW4HW, by Jawkly.

Now, ninety-nine weeks after it first began, the Comic a Week for a Hundred Weeks project by Jawkly is about to come to a close.

CAW4HW started, well, 99 weeks ago with a very simple premise: Jawkly decided it was time to stop procrastinating and start uploading comics! To that end, he made a commitment to upload a comic a day for a hundred days.

That lasted about a month.

Since October 2017, however, Jawkly has been writing and publishing a new comic each week and posting it across his various sites, from Tapas to Facebook. In the bottom right-hand corner of each update, he’s provided a little tracker for how close to complete the project currently is.

This week, that number is at 99%

We don’t know where Jawkly plans to go after he hits his 100-week milestone. Perhaps that’ll be the project done? Perhaps there’ll be more comics on the horizon – after all, the scope of the project changed once already, didn’t it?

As far as we can tell, Jawkly has been tantalisingly silent on the direction the comic will take once it hits number 100. We do have one clue, though — in the last month, Jawkly launched a Patreon for the CAW4HW project. Seems like an odd thing to do if you’re about to close off the project forever, eh?

In either case, we couldn’t be more excited to see where this whole thing has been heading and look forward to what promises to be a funny and satisfying comic #100 to round the experiment out!

We’d have to say it’s been pretty effective in conquering that procrastination.

Have you been following the CAW4HW wagon train over the past couple of years? What are your thoughts on the comic and its progress? Make sure you let us know in the comments below or over on Facebook and Twitter and until next time, always remember: Don’t eat the clickbait!
